Blake Farms is seeking a reliable Line Cook for a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Weekend availability is a priority, with both day and night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

The role requires prior kitchen experience, ability to thrive under pressure, and a commitment to quality. You will maintain cleanliness, follow safety standards, and work with a dynamic team to deliver a great dining experience.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including day and night shifts.
• 3–6 months kitchen or restaurant experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Culinary certificate or equivalent training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Take customer orders, as applicable, and prepare food requiring short preparation times.
• Complete orders from steam tables and ensure timely service at counters or tables.
• Carve meats, prepare sandwiches, brew coffee, and perform additional food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, counters, and tables.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe guidelines.
• Accept payment and make change when required.
• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods, particularly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, during both day and night shifts.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.
• Support team members and assist in other areas when needed.
• Use kitchen equipment safely, including knife handling.
