Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Lift Truck Operator II I for Saturday-Sunday shifts from 6:00am to 4:00pm in Ringgold, GA. The role involves moving products by forklift, handling pallets, and ensuring accurate shipping documentation and packaging.

Training will cover all powered industrial equipment and pallet rebuilding tasks. Key duties include receiving pull tasks, completing paperwork, inspecting packaging, and complying with overtime requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Will train to operate all Product powered industrial equipment.
• Will work with the rebuilding of pallets and in product rework (as required).
• Must be able to work necessary overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the product to be retrieved.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from locations.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band product prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• T inspect and repair damaged packaging.
