Job summary

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete bedside treatments
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in quarterly in-services for nursing staff
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation; manage caseload and audits

Schedule

• This will be your standing schedule. We are looking for a RT that can work the following schedule below consistently.
  • 4- 6 hours per shift; maybe up to 8 hours depending on caseload
  • Saturday and Sunday

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Job Description

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
• Experience with tracheotomy
• Experience is a long term care setting
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility
• Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
• Performs related duties as required
