Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to lead the Diagnostic Imaging Department during weekend shifts. You will ensure smooth daily operations and uphold high-quality imaging services within a large health system.

Required credentials include an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program, ARRT RT(R) registration, Iowa Permit to Practice, and at least two years of experience, with BLS competency and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) with ARRT active.
• Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Two years’ experience as a radiologic technologist.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for the Diagnostic Imaging Department during their shift.
• Develops and implements department objectives in collaboration with managers and staff.
• Monitors performance of staff; assists with counseling and performance appraisals.
• Promotes staff compliance with objectives and procedures and policies.
• Assists managers in interviewing prospective employees.
• Monitors the department's physical environment.
• Coordinates department activities with other areas to ensure patient care.
