Job summary

Under Armour in Sparrows Point, MD is seeking a Distribution House Team Lead Mechanic to guide the Mechanical Maintenance Department and ensure equipment reliability. You will lead maintenance technicians, drive safety culture, and collaborate with Distribution House Operations to implement plans.

The role requires leadership, CMMS/WMS/WCS knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and PLC logic. Schedule Fri-Sun, 6:00am-6:30pm; base pay $31.70–$39.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Leadership and safety record required; ability to supervise maintenance staff.
• Ability to read schematics, mechanical blueprints, and PLC logic.
• Experience with CMMS/WMS/WCS systems and forklift operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the Mechanical Maintenance Department.
• Drive safety culture and implement department strategies.
• Oversee full lifecycle of work orders: data entry, parts, inventory, coordination.
• Perform preventive and troubleshooting maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery involving electrical, pneumatic, mechanical or hydraulic systems.
