Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. in Sparrows Point, MD is seeking a Distribution House Team Lead Mechanic to lead the Mechanical Maintenance Department, drive safety culture and reliability of equipment.

You will supervise maintenance mechanics, coordinate with Distribution House Operations, and guide preventive and corrective work on conveyors and material handling systems. This role requires strong leadership, PLC and schematics literacy, CMMS/WMS/WCS knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 6 months warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS and data-driven maintenance metrics.
• Ability to read schematics, mechanical blueprints, and PLC ladder logic.
• Experience with WMS/WCS systems and related software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the Mechanical Maintenance Department.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; report unsafe conditions.
• Assist in leading and directing maintenance mechanics.
• Implement department strategies with Maintenance leadership.
• Oversee full life cycle of work orders: data entry, parts, inventory, coordination.
• Perform preventive and troubleshooting maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot machinery with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic components.
