Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center in Stevensville, MD. Shift 2B runs Tuesday–Friday from 5:30pm to 3:30am, with a $29.55/hr base rate plus a $1/hr shift differential.

Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing equipment, following PM standards, and ensuring safety and reliability. Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree or technical certificate, 3–5 years of experience, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent required.
2-year vocational/technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in maintenance.
Welding, burning, cutting skills.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
Familiar with DC-specific software like Crown PM & Gage.

Responsibilities

Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems; document work in PM system.
Report spare parts inventory and usage to leadership.
Train junior technicians to improve performance.
Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
Perform other duties to support DC operations.
