Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Wichita is hiring a Layer Pick Operator for 1st shift on weekends. You will help manage inbound receiving and outbound picking, process orders in the WMS, and coordinate with CSR and management to follow procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and 5S standards, and reliable performance during Friday to Monday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Compensation is $20.50 per hour with a $1.00 weekend differential.

Responsibilities

• Follow established parameters for Receiving/Picking/XDOCK areas respectively.
• Process sort and prep all deliveries arriving at SDC and routed to the correct destination.
• Receive and process all incoming deliveries to stock correctly based on system locations and parameters.
• Pick and Pack orders according to work orders and instructions.
• Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain the highest integrity when processing orders in the WMS.
• Ensure proper care and safeguarding of all computer equipment in possession.
• Ensure proper prep, care and safeguarding of all customer parts in possession.
• Handle and process orders under control accurately and within established timeframes.
• Make efforts to prep and process all orders/waves promptly.
• Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations.
• 5S and maintain level of cleanliness outlined by area within the warehouse and job function areas
