Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Wichita, KS is seeking a Layer Pick Operator for 1st shift to support inbound receiving and outbound picking at the Spirit Distribution Center. You will process deliveries, handle outbound orders, and coordinate with CSR and management to follow WMS procedures.

Responsibilities include following Receiving/Picking/XDOCK parameters, processing and packing orders, maintaining stock in the WMS, and keeping equipment and customer parts safe.

Qualifications

• Following established parameters for Receiving/Picking/XDOCK areas.
• Process sort and prep all deliveries arriving at SDC and routed to the correct destination.
• Receive and process all incoming deliveries to stock correctly based on system locations and parameters.
• Pick and Pack orders according to work orders and instructions.
• Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain the highest integrity when processing orders in the WMS.
• Ensure proper care and safeguarding of all computer equipment in possession.
• Ensure proper prep, care and safeguarding of all customer parts in possession.
• Handle and process orders under control accurately and within established timeframes.
• Make efforts to prep and process all orders/waves promptly
• Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations.
• 5S and maintain level of cleanliness outlined by area within the warehouse and job function areas
