Job summary

Grosvenor Services is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry and Linen Attendant in Port Charlotte, FL. The role involves organizing, cleaning, and sorting linens, loading washers and dry-cleaning machines, and ensuring a sanitary, safe work environment.

You will document and bundle items for transport to residents, with weekend availability and 1st shift hours. The position requires basic English, a high school diploma or GED, and regular attendance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of English language.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
• Employee must maintain regular attendance.
• Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Organizing, cleaning and sorting hotel linens, including sheets and towels.
• Load articles into dry-cleaning machines or washers to ensure steady availability of towels and linens.
• Regulate machine processes when starting washers, driers and dry cleaners; adjust cycles and temperatures.
• Assist with cleaning of work area facilities and equipment to maintain sanitary and safe environment.
• Bundle articles for transport to residents.
• Stand for long periods as required by laundry tasks.
• Lubricate equipment and clean or change machine filters; alert management for repairs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with supervisor and client staff.
• Adhere to health, safety, and customer service standards.
