Job summary

IU Health is hiring a weekend Courier for Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. The role involves accurate pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens and supplies, and assisting with sorting of reports and deliveries by specimen type and department.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive throughout city and surrounding areas to pickup and deliver laboratory specimens, supplies and other items to and from Ball Memorial Hospital.
• Review specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging; assist with sorting client reports and deliveries by specimen type and department required.
• Keep a daily activity record indicating number of trips, destinations, arrival/departure times and requests.
