Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Culinary Aide to assist with the preparation and service of meals for residents, employees, and events. You will follow food safety standards, use prescribed recipes, and ensure meals are served at the correct temperatures and presented attractively.

The role emphasizes accurate portioning, proper labeling, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen. Prior experience in food service and an 18+ work age is preferred, with a High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Uses proper food handling and safety techniques following established policies.
• Ensures meals are served attractively and at the correct temperatures.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare menu items.
• Delivers meals to designated areas according to schedules.
• Records temperatures and maintains logs as required.
• Labels, dates, and stores food properly to prevent contamination.
• Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen workspace.
• Performs cleaning and infection control tasks as directed.
• Assists in inventory and communicates stock needs to supervisor.
• Works cooperatively with team members and interacts with residents and families.
