Job summary

Sherlock Bones Animal Hospital and Vetcor is seeking a Weekend Kennel Attendant to care for our boarding pets with dedication and compassion.

This part-time role runs every Saturday and Sunday with three daily visits at 7:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, plus holiday coverage as needed.

You will feed, exercise, monitor, and maintain clean cages and runs, administering medications where required and providing comfort to anxious animals.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability on Saturdays and Sundays, including holiday weekend days.
• Part-time role with weekend schedule.
• Comfort handling dogs and cats safely and compassionately.
• Ability to follow care instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide loving care for boarding dogs and cats.
• Walk dogs and provide exercise.
• Feed, water, monitor boarders.
• Clean and sanitize cages, kennels, runs.
• Administer medications as instructed.
• Monitor pets for changes and comfort.
• Maintain kennel tidiness and general cleanliness.
• Complete assigned duties independently during each visit.
