Job summary

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Kennel Attendant to provide daily care for boarding animals and support for the team. Qualifications

• Experience with animals or veterinary care preferred but not required
• Calm, safe handling of animals
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Availability to work weekends and select holidays
• Minimum-age requirements met for employment

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for boarding animals: feed, walk, clean enclosures, and administer medications
• Assist with animal handling, restraint, bathing, and routine care
• Follow cleaning, sanitation, and animal-care procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment for animals, clients, and staff
• Monitor animals for changes in condition or behavior and document observations
• Follow facility policies for animal safety and care
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding care and observations
