Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit and the Genesys inpatient unit in Grand Blanc is seeking an RN for the Inpatient Weekend role on a 36-hour weekly schedule, with every 3rd weekend and a midnight shift. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience; if Nurse Resident, all residency requirements must be completed including clinical requirements.
• Current RN licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and their families.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
