Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physical Therapist I for inpatient rehabilitation. This role assesses patients, plans individualized treatment, and participates in multidisciplinary care to improve function and reduce pain after injury or illness.

You will document evaluations, develop measurable goals, and coordinate discharge planning while incorporating family input. Per diem weekend coverage is required in this setting.

Qualifications

• BS Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory and practice.
• Ability to observe, assess and record objective findings.

Responsibilities

• Examin(es) patient and records findings; formulates assessment.
• Develops treatment plan and measurable outcomes with patient/family input.
• Implements treatment and educates patient/family; revises plan as needed.
• Documents discharge summaries per policy and cooperates with care team.
• Maintains medical records and completes daily productivity statistics.
• Participates in ongoing professional education and knowledge sharing.
