Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking a Molding Tech for the Pendleton, SC manufacturing location on Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday, 6 am to 6 pm). The role focuses on keeping molds and equipment in optimal condition to ensure high-quality output with minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of industrial injection molding experience and may have medical molding device experience. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of industrial injection molding experience is required.
• Medical molding device experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong working knowledge in trouble shooting molding machines, and processes.
• Notifies Supervisor and/or Mold Toolmaker if equipment is not operating properly.
• Able to get information for different types of materials and molding conditions.
• Responsible for all cold and restarts of the molding machines.
• Make sure parts are to specification.
• Make sure all PM’s on the running machine is done for every shift.
• Make sure all changes are documented.
• Ensures work area, machine, tooling and parts are neat and organized.
• Keep insert inventory up to date and notify supervisor when running low.
• Complete Mold repair work order sheets are filled out when tool work is needed and notifying the supervisor.
• Demonstrates the ability to work in a steady, professional manner with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work in team environment.
