Job summary

Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Danfoss in Ames, IA is a weekend shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 pm–6:00 am). You will support plant operations by installing, repairing and maintaining production equipment under supervision, ensuring equipment reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, maintaining Fanuc/ABB robotics and CNC machines, and installing hydraulic circuits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
Two (2) years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance a plus.
Ability to read electrical/hydraulic drawings and schematics to diagnose problems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems to diagnose faults.
Observe and test machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions with test equipment.
Repair and maintain robotics and CNC machines.
Replace faulty modules and field components.
Install and maintain hydraulic circuits.
Repair and maintain all industrial production equipment and test stands.
automation troubleshooting including motors and VFDs.
