ComForCare Home Care - Alameda is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide non-medical in-home care across Alameda County on weekends. The role emphasizes companionship, personal care, and support for seniors, adults, and children with disabilities.

We offer training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Weekend shifts from 9am to 2pm fit caregivers seeking part-time hours in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain.
• Reliable transportation to travel within Alameda County.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual is a plus.
• Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, or personal care experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with errands, shopping, and transportation.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
