Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate CNAs for part-time weekend in-home care for seniors, including those living with dementia. You’ll provide one-on-one support, help with daily activities, and keep clients safe and comfortable in their own homes.

Qualifications

• CNAs with current certification
• Experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors, including individuals living with dementia.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs.
• Offering companionship, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Using patience and gentle redirection with memory loss or confusion.
• Maintaining consistent daily routines to promote comfort.
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Preparing meals and assisting with mealtime.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry.
• Engaging clients in meaningful activities appropriate to their abilities.
• Observing and reporting changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Following individualized care plans and completing required visit documentation.
• Communicating professionally with the office team and clients' families.
