Job summary

Senior Helpers of North Seattle is seeking compassionate in-home caregivers to assist seniors in their homes on weekdays or weekends. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship, helping clients stay safe and engaged in daily life.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid HCA training, mileage reimbursement where applicable, PTO, and benefits. Certifications such as HCA/CNA are valued, and ongoing training helps you grow your professional skills in home care.

Qualifications

• Reliable cell phone for scheduling and documentation
• Caring, reliable, patient and positive
• HCA or CNA certification, or pursuing healthcare degree
• Able to commute to client homes in North Seattle
• Pass state-required background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, transfers, meals, dressing, grooming, and daily routines
• Support clients with light housekeeping to maintain a clean home
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands to promote connection
• Engage clients in activities such as games, gardening, or crafts
• Provide mobility support using gait belts and assistive devices
• Support clients with dementia, chronic illnesses or post-hospital recovery
• Communicate with care team and families about client needs
