Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI is seeking Weekend Caregivers to provide quality in-home care for seniors and adults with varying needs. This part-time weekend role supports clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring safety in their homes.

You will perform personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation coordination while maintaining compassionate, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or personal care is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Able to assist with hygiene, mobility, and daily tasks per care plan.
• Comfortable in homes with pets and for clients who smoke.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using transfer equipment
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, or community activities
• Observe changes in clients' condition and communicate concerns to the care team
• Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
