Job summary

Sharp HealthCare's Chula Vista Medical Center Imaging Center is seeking a Per Diem Radiology Support role. You will assist with imaging procedures, transport and monitor patients, and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and AHA BLS Healthcare required; 1 year of patient care experience preferred. Weekend shifts are required, with variable start/end times and 8/40 hour shifts. This role is covered by a union agreement and requires strong safety and teamwork focus.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS Healthcare required.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 Year of experience with patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging center procedures, including transportation and monitoring of patients.
• Greet and escort patients to Imaging Center rooms and assist in transferring patients.
• Observe patients during procedures and communicate changes in condition to nursing/imaging staff.
• Transfer specimens with proper identification and safety precautions.
• Provide tech assistance by developing radiographs/images and assisting with patient movement during procedures.
• Perform general clerical duties and ensure accurate record handling and document transmission.
