St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a hospital pharmacist for a weekend role with 24 hours of patient care and 36 hours of pay. The position emphasizes clinical monitoring, medication therapy management, and collaboration with the care team to optimize outcomes.

Competenze

• Graduate from ACPE accredited pharmacy college.
• Current US pharmacist license in the state where work is performed.
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy environments preferred.

Mansioni

• Medication Order Verification and dose appropriateness assessment.
• Assess drug interactions, allergies, duplication of therapy and potential issues.
• Provide therapeutic alternatives and second verification for pediatrics/chemotherapy.
• Direct medication therapy within clinical protocols and communicate with prescribers.
• Supervise interns and technicians; mentor staff and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Ensure drug information is accurate and available to the medical team.
