Job summary

InReach in Wingate, NC is seeking friendly, caring individuals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home setting. This part-time role covers weekends (Fri-Sun) with overnight stays on Fri and Sat.

Duties include meal planning, personal care, activities, documentation, medication monitoring, and driving a full-size van. Applicants must be 21+, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and pass drug screen/background checks; prior

Qualifications

• All InReach applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and pass a drug screen and background check.
• Prior group home experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 6 months of prior experience (paid or volunteer) with the I/DD population or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking.
• Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal care & hygiene.
• Provide community recreational activities when available.
• Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities.
• Documentation of activities.
• Dispense medication and monitor dosages.
• Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.
