Job summary

Catholic Charities Twin Cities is seeking a compassionate Housing Support Representative II for the Dorothy Day Residence in St Paul. This part-time role on the second shift involves acting as a liaison, delivering customer service, and guiding residents and vendors with referrals and information.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, enforcing policies, and de-escalating conflicts, while assisting with data entry and reporting as required. Shift: weekends, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with low-income populations including homelessness and mental illness.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations facing serious life challenges; chemical dependency work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and inquiries; respond promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist residents with inquiries and ensure issues are resolved.
• Enforce visiting policy and coordinate processes with staff.
• Provide referrals and support across resources and services.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for residents.
