Job summary

Catholic Charities Community Services in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Resident Services Specialist II - PT to advocate for residents and connect them with supportive services. This role coordinates programs, leads volunteer efforts, and builds partnerships to improve community well-being in affordable housing settings.

The position requires some evenings and Saturdays, with a focus on enhancing resident engagement and access to entitlement programs and resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; experience with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or human services with at least 1 year experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hosts on-site engagement events to welcome residents and provide information on resident services.
• Co-develops surveys to learn unmet needs and program interests.
• Organizes activities like support groups and workshops to improve community well-being.
• Identifies resources to support residents, including housing and health services.
• Coordinates weekly programs to increase residents’ self-sufficiency (wellness, finances).
• Reports program progress and engages with partners and volunteers.
