The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are met.

Essential Job Functions
  • Greeting guests and responding to requests
  • Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest rooms
  • Assign tasks, inspect work to ensure it’s up to standard
  • Provide training for team members
  • Assist in the overall supervision of the department
  • Inventory supplies and provide lists of needed items in a timely fashion
  • Investigate complaints regarding housekeeping services and take corrective action
  • Change bed linen and make beds
  • Replace used towels and bathroom amenities
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Vacuum carpets
  • Dust and polish furniture
  • Empty trash containers
  • Clean public areas, such as corridors
  • Report technical issues and maintenance needs
  • Update status of guest rooms on assignment board
  • Restock cleaning cart and supplies
  • Follow all health and safety rules
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service or guest-related positions
  • Experience cleaning in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience in hospitality as a room attendant or similar role preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Physical Requirements

Frequent standing and moving about, handling objects and equipment, occasionally pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Must communicate effectively and observe details closely.
