Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment across our healthcare facility. You will clean public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms, ensuring sanitation and order throughout shifts.

The role requires ability to read instructions, follow safety guidelines, and work both independently and in teams, with an emphasis on reliability and excellent service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris.
• Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols, including using caution signage and storing chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
