Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Able to read and follow cleaning procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public and common areas throughout the day (lobby, restrooms, floors).
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and bathrooms.
• Keep handrails clean and debris-free; ensure safe floors.
• Clean walls, mirrors, windows, fixtures, and dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners; manage supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors; follow safety signage and guidelines.
• Operate housekeeping carts and storage areas safely and neatly.
• Notify supervisor of resident safety issues or supply shortages.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and time management.
• Work independently or with a team as needed.
