Banner Health’s Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West is seeking a Patient Transport Dispatcher to coordinate transport services and support the Transport Services team.

The role operates on a Fri–Sun 6:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, with a $1/hour weekend differential and a 18% night differential when applicable. The dispatcher will direct staff, manage requests, and ensure timely, safe transport for patients, equipment, and lab specimens within the hospital.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• 12+ months experience in a healthcare support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and prioritizes transport requests and dispatches staff efficiently.
• Directs department staff and assists in training of new employees.
• Acts as the hospital transport dispatching 'Command Center' coordinating with staff.
• Maintains records of requests in software systems and follows procedures.
• May assist with transporting patients when needed.
