Job summary

Advocate Health's Atrium Health Hospice Cabarrus unit in Kannapolis is hiring a part-time registered nurse (24 hours per week) for 7a-7p weekend coverage. The role includes engaging patients and families, using the nursing process, and maintaining safety and high-quality care.

RN license with BLS and up-to-date certifications are required, BSN preferred. Eligible for sign-on up to $3,000 and a referral bonus for internal teammates.

Qualifications

• RN license with current state privileges to practice.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Promote safety culture and quality outcomes.
• Possibly administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation.
