Job summary
Abode Hospice of Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Denver team on a PRN weekend schedule. You will provide 1:1 patient care, assess needs, and implement hospice plans with compassion and clinical excellence.
The role offers flexible weekend coverage, autonomy with team support, and opportunities for growth within a growing hospice. Must hold current RN licensure and a valid driver's license to operate in Colorado.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements and in good working order.
Responsibilities
- Assess/monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
- Create hospice care plans that align with the patients wishes and goals.
- Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
- Provide pain and symptom management.
- Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.
