Job summary

University of Tennessee Medical Center Hospice Services in Morristown, TN is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice team for part-time, every other weekend work. The RN is responsible for delivering the plan of care, completing documentation, and coordinating with the IDG.

The position requires one year RN experience, active TN RN license, CPR, reliable transportation, and ability to travel daily.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical RN experience.
• Current RN license in Tennessee.
• Current CPR certification, driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Must be able to reliably commute to multiple patient residences daily within the geographic area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Make assigned patient care visits according to physician orders and document visit reports and plans of care.
• Attend meetings for all patients and participate in progress toward patient goals.
• Adhere to agency policies and establish an efficient visit route.
• Provide care within the nursing scope, initiate and coordinate the plan of care with the IDG and family.
