Job summary

Liberty Hospice in Southern Pines, NC is seeking an experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time weekend shifts. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The RN will apply nursing theories, document care per guidelines, and coordinate physical care with the patient, family, physician, and Hospice team.

Requirements include current NC RN licensure, two years of clinical experience with hospice preferred, CPR, and willingness to travel as needed for weekend/evening/holiday call assignments.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in state of practice
• Two years of clinical nursing experience with hospice preferred
• 12 hours of continuing education annually
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Apply a working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts
• Care and documentation of care meeting reimbursement guidelines
• Coordinate physical care with family, patient, physician, and Hospice team
• Communicate with patients/families at all levels
• Communicate with all agency personnel
• Attend IDT meetings and quality review as scheduled
