Job summary

MGA Homecare in the South Charlotte area seeks a Weekend Homecare Nurse to provide patient care as an LPN/LVN or RN under limited supervision. You will deliver skilled nursing per the plan, document clinical notes, and support the patient’s care goals in a home setting.

The role requires valid licensure, reliable transportation, CPR certification, and ability to communicate changes promptly to the team while following MGA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LPN/LVN license in the state where services are provided.
• Provide TB results or Chest x-ray.
• Provide CPR certification per agency policy.
• Be reliable, flexible, organized with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Documentation of same on clinical notes, supplemental physical orders and nursing care plan.
• Skilled observations and significant changes in patient status are communicated to the Clinical Manager.
• Requests for modification of orders are made based on patient status and nursing judgment.
• Participation in Agency activities and adherence to MGA policies and Handbook.
• Reports on time and as scheduled to complete work within designated time.
