Job summary

MGA Homecare is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) or RN to provide skilled nursing in the South Charlotte area on weekend shifts. Under limited supervision, you will follow the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with laws and agency policies.

You will document care, communicate changes to clinical leadership, and participate in mandatory agency activities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid/unencumbered LPN/LVN or RN license in the practicing state.
• Reliable transportation.
• Provide a copy of current TB results or Chest x-ray.
• Provide a copy of CPR certification as per agency policy.
• Be flexible, organized and able to exercise independent and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• Document care in clinical notes and update nursing care plan as needed.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager.
• Adhere to MGA policies and participate in mandated activities.
