Job summary

AccentCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for weekend home health coverage in McKinney, TX. The RN Weekend Baylor will ensure delivery of high-quality patient care according to the Patient Care Plan, coordinating with CHHAs and CNAs across pediatric to geriatric populations.

The role requires an active RN license in Texas, CPR certification, and the ability to travel between locations. Prior geriatric home health and OASIS experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed to practice in the state of operation.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN.
• Must possess and maintain CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured vehicle and able to travel to all locations.
• Geriatric Home Health and OASIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care and supervise CHHAs/CNAs as needed.
• Perform initial nursing evaluation visits and ongoing evaluations.
• Initiate and revise the plan of care; document care provided.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on nursing needs.
