Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state of operation.
• One (1) year experience as an RN.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of agency operation and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess nursing needs and implement the patient care plan, evaluating and revising as needed.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise CHHAs and CNAs.
• Make initial nursing evaluation visits and ongoing reassessments.
• Coordinate care with physicians and inform staff of changes in patient condition.
• Educate patient and family on nursing needs and self-care.
