The Head Baker will oversee mixing, baking, oven operations, and ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance. Experience in production baking and knowledge of baking processes and equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 months of experience in production baking or food production.
• Strong reading, math and recordkeeping skills.
• Knowledge of baking processes, production equipment and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor mixers, extruders, ovens, and related equipment.
• Prepare dough, manage ingredients, and maintain proper product weights and shapes.
• Adjust oven settings based on product requirements and environmental conditions.
• Complete required production, ingredient, weight, moisture, and quality records accurately.
• Perform equipment changeovers, cleaning, sanitation, and allergen-control procedures.
• Follow all food safety, quality, sanitation, and lockout/tagout procedures.
