Job summary

Serving Seniors is seeking a part-time Guest Services and Security Guard for weekend shifts at the Gary & Mary West Senior Wellness Center in San Diego. The role supports guests and staff by providing a visible security presence, enforcing the code of conduct, and coordinating with the Health and Social Services team.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of security experience, a valid California Guard Card, and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid California Guard Card required.
• California driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients at entrance to ensure welcoming, secure environment.
• Enforce Client Code of Conduct with firmness and respect.
• Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts.
• Investigate policy violations and file incident reports.
• Maintain security incident records and reports.
• Collaborate with HSS and Nutrition teams for client management.
• Monitor lobby, dining room, lounges for safety.
• Respond to emergencies following protocols.
• Assist with meal services as needed.
