Job summary

EXTOL International, Inc. is now Cleo seeks a Guest Services and Security Guard in San Diego to support two sites, including weekend hours at Serving Seniors Wellness Center and midweek at Seltz Center.

You will monitor entrances, ensure safety, and support clients and staff with a calm, professional presence. Responsibilities include enforcing the Client Code of Conduct, responding to incidents, de‑escalating conflicts, and documenting outcomes for management review.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Licensure: California Guard Card and valid California driver’s license.
• Experience: 3–5 years of security experience; experience with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Certification: Guard Card and driver’s license required; strong de‑escalation and incident reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary security and guest services point at entrances. maintain a welcoming, secure atmosphere.
• Enforce the Client Code of Conduct with firmness and respect; communicate facility rules clearly.
• Respond promptly to incidents; employ de‑escalation techniques to resolve conflicts peacefully.
• Investigate policy violations; draft accurate incident reports and maintain records.
• Record and organize incident reports; ensure accessibility for management review.
• Collaborate with HSS and Nutrition teams to coordinate client support strategies.
