Job summary

Control Risks is hiring a GSOC Intelligence Analyst to monitor threats for a multinational semiconductor client. You will collect and analyze OSINT, social media, and client data to produce concise alerts and reports for security leadership.

The role requires weekend swing shifts (4x10 schedule) and collaboration across shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage. Strong written skills and experience in threat analysis are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, national security, international relations, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of intelligence analysis, research, or security operations experience.
• Interest or experience in OSINT collection and social media monitoring.
• Familiarity with global risk intelligence platforms and incident response tools.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media, and client tools for threats to personnel, executives, assets, and reputation.
• Monitor violence, protests, civil unrest, and sentiment impacting the client.
• Support executive monitoring focused on CEO travel and safety.
• Track global events affecting personnel and operations, including disruptions and disasters.
• Draft concise intelligence products (alerts, situation reports, briefings).
• Maintain situational awareness and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global security stakeholders to validate threats and mitigate risks.
• Deliver written and verbal briefings to security leadership.
• Ensure 24/7 coverage with effective handovers across shifts.
• Learn and use internal GSOC tools and workflows.
