Job summary

City of Lake Oswego is seeking a part-time golf operations assistant for the Lake Oswego Public Golf Course. The role includes cleaning and maintenance of the course and driving range, plus customer service support for program activities. Weekend shifts required, with availability on both Saturday and Sunday closing.

Responsibilities cover opening/closing procedures, range ball collection, cart staging, enforcing rules, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for players and visitors.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in golf operations.
• Oregon Driver's License required.
• Working cell phone and responsiveness.
• CPR/AED certification may be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Open/close procedures for the golf course and facilities.
• Provide customer service to players and program participants.
• Collect and replenish driving range balls by power or manual methods.
• Collect range baskets and store in designated area.
• Professionally prepare and stage power/push carts.
• Direct start of play when necessary and enforce rules.
• Organize and clean rental equipment.
• General custodial service of the driving range and golf course.
• Create a safe and positive environment during all activities.
