Forest View Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Per Diem Weekend Receptionist to greet visitors, operate the hospital switchboard, handle admissions, and perform clerical duties. This weekend-only role supports our safety and patient care goals in a private psychiatric facility.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and comfort working with psychiatric patients. Prior front desk or switchboard experience is preferred; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse population.
• Ability to make independent, responsible decisions upholding hospital policy.
• Previous office/front desk or switchboard experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Operate the hospital switchboard and paging system professionally, directing calls to the appropriate person.
• Greet visitors warmly and maintain the visitor log and access procedures.
• Perform admission procedures and complete registration forms as needed.
