Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or GED.
• Prior switchboard experience.
• Typing 40 WPM or better.
• General office and phone skills with strong organization and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests and respond to their needs.
• Provide coverage for the switchboard and route calls to the appropriate staff.
• Enforce Covid protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Distribute initial paperwork to admissions for Assessment Department including Check Sheets.
• Notify Nursing Dept. of discharges and verify ID of family member picking up the patient.
• Coordinate and serve as gatekeeper for Visitors and Family Visitations.
