Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to greet visitors, manage the hospital switchboard, and support admissions in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

The role requires compassion, calmness in escalated situations, and strong organizational skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior receptionist or switchboard experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Prior switchboard experience required.
• Typing 40 WPM or better.
• Knowledge of general office and phone skills; strong organization and written communication.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Prefers 6+ months receptionist or related customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests and respond to their needs.
• Provide switchboard coverage and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Enforce Covid protocols for patient and staff protection.
• Distribute initial paperwork to admissions for the Assessment Department.
• Notify Nursing Dept. of discharges and verify IDs of family members picking up patients.
• Maintain proper procedures for accepting patient clothing.
• Coordinate and serve as gatekeeper for visitors during family visitations.
