Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. in Ringgold, GA is seeking a Lift Truck Operator II I for Saturday-Sunday 6:00am-4:00pm to move and stage pallets, load and unload inventory, and complete required shipping paperwork.

You will learn to operate all powered industrial equipment, wrap pallets, maintain clean shipping/receiving areas, and assist with pallet rebuilding and product rework as needed. Shaw offers benefits including medical and dental after 30 days, vision, 401(k), paid vacation and sick

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents.
• Must be able to perform simple mathematics.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a pull task with information on the product to be retrieved.
• Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from locations.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Wrap and band product prepared on pallets.
• Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
• Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
• Must adhere to the corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy.
• Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on the computer screen.
