Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in Greer, SC for a weekend shift (Fri, Sat, Sun). You will safely move stock within the warehouse, load and unload shipments, and stage materials using stand-up, sit-down forklifts, clamp trucks, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.

The role requires 6 months of forklift/MHE experience, familiarity with WMS systems (SAP, JDA, Blue Yonder) is a plus, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience operating forklifts or MHE.
• Experience with stand-up equipment and driving in reverse preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS systems (SAP, JDA, Blue Yonder) is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other MHE for 80% of the shift.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues.
• Comply with OSHA and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with physical inventories and other warehouse duties as needed.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving stock within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading shipments, staging materials, and operating various types of powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as:

• Stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Clamp trucks
• Electric pallet jacks
• Reach trucks

Key Responsibilities
