A family-owned agricultural enterprise in North Carolina seeks a dedicated Part-Time Weekend Worker to assist with animal care, grounds maintenance, and retail operations at the Meat Market. Ideal candidates should be reliable and customer-focused, available to work weekends, and capable of performing manual labor. Prior experience in farming or retail is preferred but not required. Qualifications

• Strong interest in farming and animal care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
• Previous experience in farming, animal care, or retail is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock according to farm protocols.
• Collect eggs from poultry, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Maintain store cleanliness and the appearance of farm grounds.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide information about farm products.
• Process purchases using the checkout system.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
